Shah, the founder of Hyderabad, built Charminar in 1591 at the center of the

epidemic raging at that time. Four graceful minarets soar to a height of 48.7 m

village near Hyderabad. In 2002, the rock garden was readied as per the ideas
of Basu's designs. While explaining his zeal in design the garden, Basu said
that the natural rock formations were in danger from real estate
developers. He only wished to preserve them. In the same year, the local government honored
Basu's contribution with an award.
Sandalwood
trees are spread across the park's interiors. Though the
sandalwood is inferior in its quality as compared to trees growing in other
regions, the bark could be used as firewood and can also be used as an
ingredient in cosmetics
products.
The park has been a center of
agitations by various strata of the society since early 2000. Rallies or
sit-ins have been organized towards achieving goals by dalit
rights groups, auto
rickshaws unions, students and teachers, political leaders,
and others. On an average, three such rallies are given permission by the local
authorities.
Due to these rallies, normal life
has been affected. Mainly school children, college students and medical emergencies
get affected because of the traffic that is caused by people congregating for
these rallies. Though the local police designs a plan for the participants,
their inability to control their movement results in traffic jams. Due to this
infamy, the local media satirically proposed new names such as Dharna Chowk, "Dharnagunj" and
"Dharnaguda" to Domalguda, the area that houses the park. Despite a ban on
such rallies in the arterial routes of the city, the local police remained
ineffective in enforcing this.

Karmanghat
Hanuman Temple is located at Karman ghat, closer to Sagar Ring Road, it is a
temple of Lord Hanuman. It is one of the oldest temples in the city.
The temple was built immediately and successive kings ruled it well. About 400 years later, Aurangzeb sent out his armies to all corners of the country for further expansion of Mughal Empire. At this temple, the army couldn't even step close to the compound wall. When the general reported this to Aurangzeb, he himself went with a crow bar to break down the temple. At the threshold of the temple, he heard a deafening roar rumblning like thunder, and the crowbar slipped from his hands as he was shaking in fear. Then he heard a voice in the heavens "Mandir todna hai rajan, to kar man ghat" (translation: "if u want to break down the temple king, then make your heart stronger") which is why the place got the name kar-man-ghat.
And to this day, Lord Anjaneya sits peacefully meditating and blessing devotees, as Dhyana Anjaneya Swamy. And after some years it upgraded

Among the Hindu pantheon, the Goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, finds a special place in the hearts of the people for she brings prosperity and happiness as well as salvation. But very few temples have Goddess Lakshmi in her eight splendorous forms.
Built under the auspices of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, the temple was consecrated in April 1996. It is one of its kind in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This temple is located between Dilsukh Nagar and LB Nagar, in Vasavi Colony near Kothapet (NH 9).
The design and architecture of the Ashtalakshmi temple was borrowed from the one at Chennai. However, several modifications were made while the construction was initiated. The Ashtalakshmi temple is a fine example of a collective endeavor. People from many quarters came forward to donate liberally. It took five years of non-stop work and a total expenditure of Rs 10 million for the magnificent Ashtalakshmi temple to take its present form.
The well-known architect, Padmashri S.M. Ganapati Sthapathi, and M. Mathiyalagan Sthapathi conceived the structure and design. About 134 vigrahams (idols) of lesser-known gods adorn the mahagopuram.
Although built of sand and cement, the Ashtalakshmi temple reveals the remarkable dexterity of the artists. Installed inside are idols of Adilakshmi, Aishwaryalakshmi, Santanalakshmi, Dhanalakshmi, Dhanyalakshmi, Gajalakshmi, Vijayalakshmi and Varalakshmi. Depicting these eight postures, the idols are adorned with gold and kasula Peru necklace and other necklaces. If one is all praise for the richly ornamented idols inside the temple, one is equally agog to see the intricately carved designs on the temple gopuram.
Proposals are in the offing to construct a two-storeyed Kalyana Mandapam at a cost of Rs 15 million and an Archaka nilayam residential quarters for the priests.
The nightly illumination of this enchanting temple is spectacular. Viewed from a distance, it looks like it's made from marble. And on approaching the temple entrance, one is captivated by the tranquility of the surroundings and the all-pervading sweet fragrance of the incense.

Timings: All days of the week
6:00 AM - 1:00 PM
4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Legend has it that
Sri Rama installed the Siva lingam here to atone for the sin of killing Ravana,
a Brahman. He selected this beautiful valley surrounded by hills and verdant
greenery for the purpose and ordered Hanuman to bring a Sivlingam from
Varanasi. Hanuman was late in arriving with the Siva lingam and as the
auspicious hour was nearing, Lord Siva himself appeared before Sri Rama and presented
a Sivilingam for installation. Hence the lingam in the temple is called
Swayambhu Linga. It is also called Ramalingeswara as lord Sri Rama had
installed the lingam.
Hanuman returned with 101 lingams
for selection from Varanasi and felt aggrieved at not having his lingam
installed. Hence he threw them all over the area. Even to this day several
lingams are found scattered all over the place outside the temple.
To mollify Hanuman, Sri Rama
ordained that precedence would be given to him for worship at the temple. He
also said that the hillock where the lingam was installed would bear his name
kesarigiri i.e., Hanuman, the son of Kesari. Over a period of time, it has
colloquially transformed and is now known as Keesara and the hill as
Keesaragutta. Ever since, the rituals follow the command of Sri Rama.
Archaeological Excavations
Exploration and Excavations were
conducted by the archaeological department in the surroundings of Keesaragutta
Temple. Many Remnants of Brick structures and Shiva Lingas were found on the
Hill north of the temple and a slopy Hillock near the water resource. The
remnants belonged to Vishnukundin Empire reign. Fortification walls, Yaga shala
and Prayer hall's were excavated here. Some Vestige remnants and rock cut
cisterns were found on the hills as an indication of Jainism and Buddhism
Flourished contemporarily. On October 18 2014, twelve idols of Jain Tirthankara
dating back to the 4th-5th century were found near the temple steps at a depth
of one foot which proves that Jainism
co-existed along with Hinduism at Keesaragutta during the time of Vishnukundins
in 4-5th century.

Saints and Patwaris went to that Snakes Nest which was of 25fts. They moved Sri Ranganatha's Idol from nest and placed the Idol on a bullock cart with the help of the villagers. Authority. The park won the Best Open Landscape Award during the
2010 Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage award presentations.
In 2010, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) came up with a new proposal for the park's development. While retaining all the environmental aspects of the park, the agency proposed a plan without construction of any concrete structures. Besides water sports, so as to utilise the huge waterfront, the proposal mooted night illumination, water and energy conservation measures. From their allotted budget of 130 million (US$1.9 million) for the lake development, a part of it was to be utilised if this proposal were to be agreed upon by the local government.
Shortly thereafter, solar lighting was installed at the park. Additionally, HMDA also showcased sculptures made from recycled material as a part of its Hyderabad Eco Art Project initiative. Further to this, BPPA also enforced a ban on usage and littering of plastic in several areas including this park. Necessary awareness activities were started to educate the citizens about the hazards of plastic.

The tower is followed by the main temple with a large corridor around the temple. The Idols of Rama, Sita and Laxmana and its Makara Thoranam are beautifully formed from single black rock. Anjaneya, usually accompanying Lord Rama, is not seen in the garbhagriha. Instead, Anjaneya Swamy idol is placed near the Dwaja Sthambam facing Sri Rama.
